I remember reading a review in the StarTribune about this book. Janis is a medical examiner in Anoka county. She did an internship at the V.A. in Mpls. The book is various stories about the connections between people and their deceased. A lot of coincidences! A few are actual talks with people that have died- their ghosts? Afterlife??
