Society has abolished all abbhorant behavior. Peoples' brains are map when they are children and then throughout adult life a special cap is worn every night. While slleping the central computer analyzes any problems the individual may be having and automatically corrects the problem. However, some are immune to the catharsis effect and come to realize that the human race is stagnating. The result is, of course, conflict with a fairly predictable outcome.
The book is a short quick read, but not a 'must' read.… (altro)
