It would seem that I, like many others, was mislead by the publisher's description of this title when it was made available via LibraryThing's Early Reviewer program. Unfortunately, it took less than 1 story to make me realize that this book was not my cup of tea. When I requested it, I honestly thought it was a real-life travel log of the author - the places he'd visited and the things he'd seen in his travels. Instead, what I got was a collection of short stories that just didn't click with me in any way. Even the pictures, while fascinating, are lackluster in black and white.… (altro)
