nonfiction/sewing inspiration. Mary provides some instructions for some of her techniques and provides lots of gorgeous pictures for your inspiration. I wouldn't wear these particular patterns, but they make lovely eye candy. I might try applying her techniques to my own patterns though, if I felt like putting in a significant chunk of time.

patterns for strapless bodices (with spaghetti straps and halter options) and circle skirts in sizes 4 (33" bust, 28" waist) to 14 (40" bust, 35-1/2" waist). update: impressions after revisiting this book -- still not that excited about the patterns but glad I added this book to my library because the technique illustrations and instructions are even more fantastic than I remembered.
