$40. 1889, First Edition. BINDING: Hardbound in blue cloth with red decorations on cover and spine and red lettering on front cover, gold lettering on the spine, 356 pages BOOK CONDITION: Heavy soiling to covers and sunning to the spine but lettering is all bright. Interior rear hinge is weakened with webbing visible but text block is tight and the covers still secure. DESCRIPTION: Illustrated by W. C. Jackson. Military operations of the civil war up to the end of the Peninsular campaign
A book about World War I written just as it ended. History is sometimes best viewed in the moment. This book was published the year after the war ended.
