I began reading two or three other titles, but they didn't make the best morning companions. Amazing. One of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to and one of my favorite nonfiction books of all time!This book will stick with me forever. ❤️❤️❤️

One minute I was laughing out loud and a few minutes later, I was tearing up at the beautiful, heart wrenching stories of Father Gregory Boyle “G” and his profound, impactful relationships with so many different members of LA gangs.

If you were a Catholic priest, how would you live? What would you do? This book tells the story of what’s happening at Homeboy Industries and Father Gregory Boyle’s relationships with (ex-)gang members in LA. It’s moving, funny, and profound all rolled up into one. Few books resonated more, or made me laugh as much. Plus he constantly quotes poets and mystics throughout. Simply beautiful! ( )
