The undisputed kings of light entertainment celebrate twenty years together of highs, highs and more highs in this hilarious memoir. This is the book everyone has been waiting for- national heroes Ant and Dec, Britain's most successful television duo, have invited their millions of fans into their world. From youth clubs to blind school, pubs to jungles, there's a wealth of behind-the-scenes anecdotes that have never been told, until now. Ant and Dec met when they were 13 on the set of Byker Grove in Newcastle. They didn't warm to each other immediately, but soon enough they became best mates and have been inseparable both on and off-screen ever since. Bad rap, stunts going wrong, schoolboy pranks and pub antics are just some of the experiences they write about in this wonderfully entertaining memoir. An idiosyncratic collection of vivid observations, colourful reminisces and charming digressions, Ant and Dec's book is packed with comical anecdotes, and will give millions of fans an insight into the genuine intimacy and refreshing sense of humour that the two TV icons share.… (altro)

Actually, this was fairly irritating to read in big chunks, as it's written in first person by both of them and so all the parts by Ant are in italics, which gets pretty annoying for my eyes after a while. On the other hand, it was interesting to read! Obviously my brain has decided to retain innumerable facts about their lives anyway, but the parts about leaving Byker Grove, about their music tours in Japan and Indonesia and about Ant's wedding were new to me. Also there are adorable photos of them too! Aww. ( )
