I really liked this book, it taught the concept of gravity to the readers. I thought that the experiments in it were really interesting and they would really interest a child. I liked when they took the rubber band and tied it to an adult shoe and a child shoe. It told us that the heavier an object is, the more the rubber band stretches, and the more gravity is being used on the object. I really want this whole series for my classroom, because I think they'd be a really good resource for the students to have. ( ) This book covers topics of gravity, force, and weight in straightforward and easy to use language. There are clear images that are all illustrated and labeled. The main character acts out his curiosity and takes scientific discovery into his own hands. He includes observations and explanations for certain phenomena that occurs. took this book along with I Get Wet and I absolutely loved them. The book starts with a readers note explaining the purpose of the book. It also gives a list of materials and objects to have ready if you want to do the exercises to test gravity with the boy in the book. the book is fun and makes understanding the science of gravity in a very easy way for young children. I Fall Down is an informational text that explains the law of gravity. It also gives a few experiments that you can conduct with a child. My 10 year old loved this book. We had a great time doing the experiments in the book. It gave accurate scientific information. The story was easy to read and the activities provided a fun learning experience. This book works to help kids understand gravity. For example, the child in the book is constantly conducting experiments to prove that gravity weights everything down. If it were not for gravity, we would just be floating. I feel like this is a good introduction book for students on gravity. It holds a couple experiments that I would like to do in my own classroom. I would suggest this book to other teachers, especially if they have students that are struggling with understanding what gravity is and why it is important. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
