Komme ich zu dem, was direkt ins Auge fällt, dem Cover, dieses gefällt mir wirklich sehr gut und ist äußerst ansprechend.
Fängt man an zu lesen, wird man relativ schnell merken, dass sich das Buch eher an ältere Kinder richtet, da manche der Ausführungen doch recht direkt beschrieben werden.
Im Laufe der Handlung begegnet den Lesenden auch immer wieder bekannte Namen, die man aus der Geschichte bzw. Mythologie kennen wird, diese Idee des Paralleluniversums fand ich auch echt gut. Leider konnte mich die Autorin nicht wirklich überzeugen und in die Welt eintauchen lassen.
Das Ende ist sehr offen gehalten, was aber auch nicht verwundert, da es mehrere Bücher der Reihe gibt.
Ein sehr kurzes Jugendbuch, das mich nicht wirklich in die Welt und den Bann ziehen konnte, dass dem ein oder anderen Jugendlichen sicherlich gefallen wird. ( )

It was okay..I just started reading it because I was bored..but it was pretty interesting.The thing with parallel worlds and stuff was good.I have never hated a heroine like this.I hate Senna,who is a witch and her boyfriend the narrator of the story who is obsessed by this witch girlfriend.This girlfriend gets him,her step sister-April,friend-Jalil and ex-boyfriend-Christopher into grave trouble.The stupid boyfriend is not ready to go to the real world without finding his lovely girlfriend.Ugh!He is ready to sacrifice the life of others to save her,who brought them all here in the first place.I hate the narrator dude...apart from that,I love the other characters..the funny Vikings,April and her singing part,Christopher and his jokes,the extremely intelligent Jalil.The author has done an interesting job by mixing up The Aztecs or sun worshipers,The vikings,Loki and Thor.It was fun reading it.It would've been better if David was not a character in the book. ( )

Fun fluff, and feels a bit more together than the Animorphs stuff, though using some of the same techniques. ( )
