This album consists of translations of first three original albums from French. L'Incal Noir (1981), L'Incal Lumiére (1982), Ce Qui Est En Bas (1983). All three surrealistic comics classics. Moebius (pseudonim of Jean Giraud) with those images (and others published in Metal Hurlant - Heavy Metal), visually influenced not only whole generation of Science Fiction comics artists but film directors too: David Lynch in "Dune" and Ridley Scott in "Blade Runner" among others.
This is my third reading and first on English. I don't like format (original is much larger) and new colouring. But they don't spoil hilariously funny and weird story about Class 'R' detective's John Difools adventures. ( )
