The friendship is growing even more in the fourth volume of this incredible manga series! I love how this series combines amusing drama, hilarious comedy, and a collection of random monsters! It appears that the plot is going to be changing a bit, since the witches are being involved more this time around. I am super intrigued to see where this deviation takes us.

There were good and bad things about this volume. First the bad, the whole "everyone should get along and then there would be peace and harmony across the whole world" shtick was laid on as thick as Tammy Fay Baker's make-up. I admire the author's idea that people who are different should be able to get along. But it was way too heavy-handed this volume, which brought down my usual rating from 4 to 3 stars.

But on the good side, I enjoyed learning more about the long-running feud between witches and monsters. Also, the new villain Ruby was interesting and I have a feeling that she will be a new student at the all monster school soon. Oh, and the creepy and way-too knowing bus driver was fun.
