I don't know how Shin Mashiba (the writer and artist) keeps making "Nightmare Inspector" so enthralling volume after volume. So it should come as no surprise that Volume #5 is no different. From a harsh lesson about the dangerous of focusing on your appearance to the dangers of self-imposed delusions to the loneliness of a child who feels forced to create friends who want nothing to do with her, the nightmares are almost as chilling as their resolutions. In the process, Hifumi gets tutored in the pointlessness of Delirium's fantasy rooms and this readers gets even more creeped-out.
