This book teaches children about the Earth, how to take care of it, why things in the Earth are important, how we can earn money while also helping the Earth and giving the money towards a charity to save the Earth. I believe this book is educational for the students and I'd recommend this book for grades 3rd to 5th. The illustrations are also detailed to support ELL students. This simple, colorful book by popular children's author Mercer Mayer begins with 10 easy ways for young children and their families to participate in Earth Day all year long. Number 1 is reduce, reuse, recycle and follows with such practices as setting up a clothesline, turning lights and electronics off before leaving a room. This book is too cute... just like every other Little Critter book known to man! This would be great to use in a younger level classroom on Earth Day or to discuss recycling and going green. It gives a few great ideas that people can do in their own households, as well as tells a funny story about Little Critter trying to save the world. I thoroughly enjoyed it. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Response: This book illustrates nicely some of the tangible tasks that regular people can do to reduce the impact of climate change. It gives a strong lesson in citizenship and working together with the people in a community to improve that community environment. The pleasant art style will be appealing to young children. ( )
