This book is cute and fun as Dectective Jeffrey Bones helps his grandpa find his dog Curly as he has disappeared when grandpa ran to help Jeffrey when he fell off the swings. The book helps show how anyone can be a detective and find things if they think.

I enjoy mysteries, so it's fun to read a "detective" children's story. I thought the text was well done and the story was "compelling." Even though they fit with the story I didn't love the illustrations, but only because they're not in my favorite art styles.

Phenomenal book for young children that gives them an appropriate mystery that holds their interest. Ages 6-9 ( )
