The character Ann loved surprises and had a special one for father. The character and grandmother' character had a special supervise for father and grandmothers son for his birthday. This was very interesting book to teach of love and the development of setting task for themselves and complete the tasks begin. Also, weigh evidence and make appropriate choices. The illustrated were very good with expressed happiness and warmth.

Anna and her Grandmother meet on Wednesday nights to plan out a surprise for her father's birthday, and other surprises unfold when the big day arrives.

I would use this book for effective questioning because the story leaves a lot open for discussion. Why characters are feeling a certain way or what they must be thinking. Characters question things in the book itself and those can be posed as well.
