This was how Alien" should have been. Alien lifeform takes over humans and changes them to ultimate warriors and spreads like wildfire. Very violent, lots of fighting, lots of people writhing in agony while being taken over. Just as good as I remember from back in junior/highschool." ( )

the book is good and I like the writer style. From all the reviews I read I was expecting more horror and battles but the first half of the book is just introduction to the characters, not less interesting of course. I find the way he portrays the Vang just beautiful, it made me feel empathetic toward it and I find the end both happy and sad. ( )

Christopher Rowley is one of my favorite authors. In The Vang: Military Form, the Vang are awakened after losing a space battle thousands of years ago and find a world suitable for colonization.
This is a human world. This is fine with the Vang. Humans make good vehicles and better food. A handful of humans must fight off the Vang and let off world authorities know of the Vang. If they cannot, humanity is in for a lot trouble.

I really enjoyed the Vang that the author created. Especially their psychology and physiology.

A Rowley must read. Highly recommended. ( )
