Preface to the First Edition
Almost all research studies contain technical terms that nonspecialists do not know and, a much greater proble, that they cannot easily look up.

Preface to the Second Edition
My aim for this second edition is the same as in the first: to give readers of research in the social and behavioral sciences an easy-to-use reference work for statistical concepts and methodological terms.
