It’s a Date (Again) by Jeneva Rose

Losing your memories wouldn’t be easy ~ Waking to three attractive men claiming to be your boyfriend and not remembering any of them wouldn’t make it any easier. Throw in friends willing to help you figure out which of the three was the one you had decided you loved, dates to be gone on that might trigger or assist your memories, and wanting to get it right and you have a bit of a dilemma. One of Peyton’s friends told her to wait till she remembered but if she had…this book wouldn’t have happened so…off to the dating game Peyton went.

This was a fun, easy, sweet read that was somewhat predictable. It was a nice escape to spend time with Peyton, meet her friends, and find out how she finally decides who the man she loves truly is. You can’t always know what is inside a book by the cover and that is true of the men in Peyton’s life. I was pretty sure who she would end up with and the conclusion was satisfying as Peyton did end up with the best man for her.

The characters were well developed and easy to get to know. Mayba, Robbie, Debbie, Hank, and Anthony were supportive, kind, and honest. Nash, Tyler, and Shawn were worthy potential beaus ~ at least in the beginning and a few might be worth of stories of their own.

This was the first book I have read by this author and would like to thank her, Montlake, and Netgalley for the ARC – This is my honest review.

This was a cute book! I received an ARC from Jeneva (and signed!) so that was exciting! It was however, extremely predictable. I could tell from the beginning that it was Robbie she was in love with, so I wished that had been toned down a bit through the book so it was more surprising at the end. But overall, it's a cute read. I do prefer Jeneva Rose's thriller books, but I went into this expecting a pure rom-com, and that's what I got. It's a cute idea. And it's memorable. I finished about a week ago and I still remember, which is saying something. Usually rom-coms are in one ear and out the other. Entertaining and quick read! I do love a story where someone loses their memory and tries to figure out their life. I'm into it! :) ( )
