The review is based on the fact I don't have a smoker, if you do, scale it up. I bought this book under the assumption I would be able to use the recipes in my kitchen, but you need a smoker and I don't think the book description was clear enough on that. There are some recipes that don't, but the vast majority do. I'm writing this review as a warning for others that did not note this. As for the recipes themselves, once I discount the fact that I don't have the smoker, while there are some interesting recipes, very few of them are not something I haven't seen before (often better) and without smoking the recipes many of them are not all that interesting. There are some, just not many. That said, bear in mind I've been vegan 12 years and cook a lot of stuff, a newbie vegan would be different. ( )
