A quick and powerful read. It's got guts and heart: visceral and emotional. The conversations are between Miss Major and her assistant/found-grandchild Toshio, and it's like sitting around the table with them hearing these incredible, heartbreaking, heartwarming stories. Her life has often been hard, & her language reflects the places she's been and experiences she's survived and thrived after. This feels like an important addition to Black Trans History 5✨🏳️⚧️ ( )
