Attualmente non vi sono conversazioni su questo libro. onomatopoeia, animal familiarity, rhyming How many reviewers know the word ‘onomatopoeia’? Or do they copy each other? I must have flunked my SAT. For grins, I looked it up to educate myself: https://www.ereadingworksheets.com/figurative-language/poetic-devices/onomatopoe... This Dr. Seuss book is fairly well rated so I decided to read it during the few minutes standing in line at Powell’s Books. As always, whimsical art, eye-catching fonts and bright colors for the onomatopoeic words, and a rather amusing Mr. Brown making various noises imitating animals (cows’ moos) to objects (trains’ choo-choos) to humans (slurping soup). This book is very likely repeatably enjoyable for children, but this big kid left it behind at the bookstore. This book is a great book to teach onomatopoeia words, such as, MOO!! This book would be perfect for the younger students who who are just learning rhymes and sound words. I think this book would help students with their phonemic awareness and would be an easy book for the students to decode while reading. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
