Bold, bright, and enchanting artwork illustrate a positive story with a built-in life lesson for toddlers/small children. Sometimes, the rhymes seem a little forced, but overall, it is a good book for any small child, especially when a discussion about bullies or treating everyone with kindness needs to take place. My toddler enjoyed it.

In 'My Girly Unicorn', we find our main character to be far more colorful than her fellow unicorns. She's also more cautious and the other unicorns bully her for it leaving our unicorn feeling sad and lonely.

The book reads smoothly with creative rhymes while teaching kids to empathize for those who are bullied and be accepting and inclusive. The art style is colorful and appealing, allowing little ones to really immerse themselves in the story.

It was an adorable and enjoyable story and my daughters, age 6 and 11, both enjoyed listening to it. My oldest is a big fan of art and really loved the artistic style of this story, stating they were absolutely adorable with great attention to detail.

Ultimately, a great read to teach young children about the harm bullying can cause and the power of acceptance. ( )
