"Our Little Secret" by Kiersten Modglin

Someone’s missing. Someone’s dead. Everyone’s lying.

I love Modglin's writing style the plot is always well-crafted, with plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end.

Each of the characters is complex and flawed, and the way their relationships evolve over the course of the book is both fascinating and heartbreaking.

One thing I particularly enjoyed was the use of multiple perspectives to tell the story. Each chapter is told from the point of view of one of the main characters, which allows the reader to see the situation from different angles and gain a deeper understanding of each character's motivations.

Modglin has created a compelling story with well-drawn characters and plenty of suspense, making it a truly gripping read.

Wow, how many messed up people can live on one block?!?
This book was very fast paced with so many twists and turns!
Cons: There are so many messed up people that in the end they probably all deserve to be locked up for something. (Is this really a con though??)
Pros:. It was a fast, fun, exciting read with so many great characters and crazy turns! ( )

Someone…or everyone is lying in Cason Glen. Stephanie’s husband is missing. But, she knows something is just not right. She makes a false report about a car going into the town lake hoping the authorities will drag the lake and possibly put an end to her nightmare. When the law comes to question her, she reneges on her statement. But, her husband is still missing!

There are so many secrets in this novel. You just don’t know who to believe. Honestly, everyone seems to be everyone’s friend and they are all one big, happy town. Well! They are not! Everyone is lying to everyone.

This is a twisted story and the ending is completely worth it. However, this novel fell short for me. I just did not like any of the characters, especially the teenage boys. But, it is fast paced and the narrators, Mandy Kaplan, Wyatt Baker, did a very good job!

Well, the Queen has done it again!! There is a reason Kiersten Modglin is called the Queen of Twists and Turns and this book (and her others) just proves the title is well-deserved.

So, we have a cul-de-sac of neighbors, all embroiled in secrets, lies, betrayals, death and more. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is hiding something from everyone else. Someone is missing and it seems like everyone knows something about it. Did this person just walk away from his family or did something more sinister happen to them?

I was trying my hardest to piece it all together - who did it, who knows what, who might be in on it together - and lo and behold.......this author out-witted me again!! I never saw this ending coming or where the chips would fall!

I swear every book this author puts out is better than the last one and all of them are amazing!! Keep them coming Ms. Modglin!! I bow down once more to the Queen! ( )
