Yay! Sakura finally collects all the Clow Cards! This isn't quite the end of her struggle though, because she still has to pass the final judgement by Tue (who isn't exactly the nicest person(. Tue has a stronger lotalty to Clow Reed, so he doesn't think anyone should be the master of the Cards, and therefore his master as well. Thankfully for Sakura, Clow anticipated this event and left a bell at the shrine that would give Sakura enough power to control the moon cards against Yue, so she ends up winning his respect in the end. Two big twists in this story: Yue isn't the teacher woman like I thought - it's Yukito - and Clow Reed threatens Sakura when she finished the final judgment and says that he'll be back to cause trouble for her. WTF is up with that?! ( )

Everything is changing as Sakura takes on the task of capturing the last Clow Card. However, to her surprise this final endeavor is not to be her final challenge, for once she has obtained all the cards she must sit and be judged before Judge Yue to determine if she is a fit Master of the Clow.

This particular volume was really full of interesting twists and turns. I was totally surprised by Yue! I'm also very curious what exactly it is that Toya needs to reveal to Yukito, although since it isn't a major plotline I have to wonder if this is something that really ever actually gets explained. I also really loved Kero's true form, very cool. I'll certainly be checking out the second half of this series and am anxious to see what will happen to Sakura next. ( )
