This book is good for two reasons. The first reason is the multiple stories surrounding the guinea pig, Fluffy. By using chapters, the author is able to introduce Fluffy, tell how he got his name, have him daydream, and improvise to avoid embarrassment. The second reason this book is good, is the artwork. The warm colors allow the reader to understand that the book is for young readers, but uses enough detail to bring the text to life. In each chapter the author uses an easy to read vocabulary, to allow the reader to enjoy the story, instead of having to decipher the difficult or complex words. The overall theme of this book is to entertain, through the fun stories of guinea pig. ( )
