Didn't expect that

I enjoyed this book but not as much as the first and not because it was bad, I just felt the sexual tension between Ashamed and Sax was just a tad much. But the book delivered romance, love, action and everything I love reading. ( )

Listened to audio narrated well by Caitlin Kelly and James Fouhey.I liked the alternating narrators, they both delivered an enjoyable listening experience.

Leanora is a phantom, repossessing Craven's mate every time she reincarnates to claim him as hers, no matter the cost.

Prince Saxon, Everly, and Roth plan to overthrow Asheleigh's father after Saxon wins the tournament, with the help of meddling seers and witches. The bonus for Saxon is he gets to take revenge on Leanora's incarnate before he imprisons her forever. The snag? he's falling for her AGAIN, realizing Ashleigh is not the same woman who betrayed him.

Campy and cheesy, it felt like the author incorporated a teen version of Game of Thrones and Once Upon a Time in her Cinderella remake. Loved the dragons, but this was only an okay read for me, but I was hoping for more.
