HTML: What is the Bastard Bachelor Society? It's a gentleman's club—like the dignified men of the past used to have. Except, we're not gentleman, and we're not dignified. We're ineligible bachelors; bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually... We're so committed to being single, we've created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest. Rules are involved. Prizes. Laugh it up, but I'm no loser. Enemy number one to my single status? My irresistible neighbor, Abbott Margolis. She with her evil cat Desdemona, and Sexy AF pencil skirts. She's kind and beautiful and hilarious. We can't get involved, no matter how much her meddling grandmother pushes us together. But if I was going to lose this bet for anyone? It would be for Abbott. Let's face facts: I'm a bastard, unwilling to settle down. Especially when there's a bet to win. .Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

And I'm allowed. Because I am a human.
First, this was an easy read. In many ways, it was satisfying. I don't know what to say but neighbors-friends-to-lovers romance fits the moment. But a smoking jacket, really? Maybe that fits the moment too...
Second, and primary feeling: Sara Ney, could you not?
Could you not push these out so quickly you turn a cute and fun premise into a shitshow?
Could you not almost get there with the characterization and developing relationship
Could you not with shortcuts in your characterization? (I realize this kind of contradicts the previous statement and that's why I feel so weird about this)
Could you not with juvenile conflict in a 34? year old?
I am not rating it. Is it a 2? Is it a 3? Do I recommend it? I don't know. Let's talk later.
Oh good grief, I completely forgot could you not write chapters from a cat's point of view? ( )
