Holy crap Aiden King is the cruelest, most hateful, arrogant, smart, and beautiful man. I wanted to punch the crap out of him one second but then the next I was falling hard for him. Aiden is enigmatic and such a genius player to his own game that Elsa doesn’t even stand a chance no matter how strong she is or pretends to be. They call her Frozen because everyone thinks that she thinks she is better than everyone when in reality she is pretending to hold herself together when all she wants to do is fall apart. At first I wasn’t sure why Aiden was acting this way towards her and I was kind of hating him and his manipulation, but then we learn a little more about him and the kindness he eventually shows towards and only towards Elsa and it makes you love him. The author draws you in and makes you feel the emotions and turmoil that she has to endure. The cliffhanger at the end blew me away and was such a twist that I am dying to know what happens next. I need more!!!!! ( )

What is this obsession we all have with high school bully smut? We can't seem to get enough of it.

This starts off like many bully romances do, and ends on a cliff-hanger! I was not prepared nor did I enjoy the end of this book because I'm not personally a fan of cliff-hangers that aren't due to action or serious plot events. This one felt like it just ended on a closed-door scene for me; others may really like that aspect though.

Aiden King is a very dark and disturbed character. In a grown adult male, these tendencies might be seen as sexy or 'alpha' but in a teenager, it can be a bit disturbing. There isn't really a lot of the plot or backstory revealed and the parts that are, are given slowly. Elsa Quinn is nicknamed "Frozen" for being an ice queen toward everyone. She has some issues that begin to come into play throughout the book and you wonder what happened in her past. This is the connection between her and Aiden but the puzzle pieces are hard to put together; the parts you read about sometimes are confusing.

The sex scenes have a dark vibe that in a couple of cases border on questionable - and what's great is the author tells the reader about this RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING so no one can come back and be pissy about it. Good on the author for recognizing this and setting the record straight before a disgruntled reader tries to call it out negatively!

This series is holding my interest better than other HS set stories have, so I will keep reading it.

There were times in this story that I gasped out loud. So many games and secrets. I'm not sure anyone is being truthful. The suspense is killing me and the angst... I cannot wait to figure out what happens next between Elsa and Aiden. Hopefully, there will be some insight into Kim and Xander too. ( )
