It's a very short read, finished within the hour! A recollection by Toothless of a competition Hiccup's been to which ended in a memorable note. A pleasant read especially for the young ones

This is a short sweet spin off from the How To Train Your Dragon series, written for World Book Day. It is solid enjoyable HTTYD, the boys are given a task (this time, catching fish), get picked on by the bullying vikings, Toothless does something daft, they all have an encounter with a ferocious and scary dragon, and it all ends happilly. I was slightly disappointed that the authorial voice was almost exactly the same as in the other HTTYD books, I was hoping it would sound more like Toothless, but like all the HTTYD books it's incredibly easy to read and funny, so that's not a strong criticism! ( )
