Mitch Rapp is not in this book but you learn a lot of backround and catch a glimpse of the under belly of Washington politics. A senator who values his own power and causes the deaths of many military men. Two other corrupt politions are expertly killed Black Ops style. Director Stansfield of the CIA and his second in command, Irene Kennedy of the counter terrorism division,and FBI Director Roach are called in to investigate. Multiple questions arise such as..Is the President behind the killings?..How will the White House spin the public? This book shows the reader Washington as a place of distrust, dishonor, duplicity,hypocrisy and murder. It will make even the most loyal of government affairs think twice about the quality of people running this country. ( )

This was interesting, somewhat suspenseful, and I enjoyed the story. But it was not so engrossing that I had to cancel all plans to finish and find out the end. If I stopped reading for a few days, had to review who was who and what title or relation to the story. ( )

Having read hundreds of books in this genre, this might be the dumbest and least believable of the lot. ( )

Hard to decide who to root for and I kept expecting Rapp to appear.
Good story, enjoyed it a lot. ( )
