I can’t tell you how much I loved Vaughn. He was such an enigmatic person in the beginning but as we read we start to see this other side of him that he doesn’t like to show the media or pretty much anyone else, he was a beautiful person inside and out even if he came off as having a “leave me alone” persona. This book surrounds the relationship between Vaughn and Natalie as they try to navigate the situation, they have got themselves in. Natalie is the younger sister to Vaughn’s team captain, and he is in hot water already for fighting, etc and he wants out of Chicago but he is insanely attracted to and falling for Natalie. They try hard to fight it but they can’t so we get to watch as they try to figure how this will work. I loved loved loved this book. ( )

Grumpy grumps who are super sweet and soft for their sunshine half give me life.

The hockey parts were great. The romance parts were great. There were parts that made my heart break into itty bitty pieces.

What I wouldn't give to be able to read this again for the first time. ( )

Cover aside (yeah wasn't crazy about it) Vaugh has so won my heart. I really hope you guys have read Dirty Player because you really should, it was really good and those characters have a good amount of time in this one. Huh, I have to reread Hard Crush and then read Dirty bad boy, just so many awesomeness.. Anywho back to this one we had met Natalie who was Greg (Dirty Player) little sister who when in Vancouver has a night to remember with Greg's enemy Vaughn. Vaughn has no clue that Natalie whom he knows as Allie was the girl he could not forget from Vancouver until one of his teammates points it out to him thinking Vaughn was just doing it to get back at Greg..Mind blown Vaughn goes to confront her (or so he says) and both him and Natalie agree that they need to forget that day and move on, however wishful thinking!!! Read and Enjoy!

I adored this story. Allie and Vaughn have great chemistry. The two get each other. Allie sees beyond Vaughn’s image, and Vaughn appreciates Allie for the person she is and not for being Greg’s sister. I love that he puts her first when she has always come in second to Greg.

Dirty Secret is skillfully written. The characters had compelling obstacles. The hockey scenes are thrilling and add to the novel. I love that Allie played hockey as well. The book is an exciting read that I finished in a day. Dirty Secret is a great foundation for the Slayers series. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
