Full Review on my blog!

This was so freaking good, I literally read it in one sitting. I was hooked from page one.
I’ve never really read mafia romances, but I had high hopes for this one since I loved Jill’s Fae Games series. I was not disappointed.

Alessia works for her father’s company, and while she might be the bosses daughter, she doesn’t use that to her advantage. She’s looking to make her life her own, with success in her career, and hopefully making her family proud of her, while doing what makes her happy. Luca Romano is a man who knows what he wants and doesn’t let anyone or anything get in his way. When he meets Alessia it’s not by chance but he never expects the affect she would have on him and he knows that she would be his no matter the consequence. Their chemistry is HOT and intense.

There are lots of twists, lies and betrayal that you won’t see coming
Forever Lies is one of my favourite starts to a new series. I’m so looking forward to seeing what Jill, has in store for the rest of the series! I can’t wait. ( )

What a pleasant surprise. I live for Mafia books. There is just something about them that draws me in. Even with the criminal underbelly that they often represent there is something about that shows the other side of loyalty and family as well. This author managed to do that well. I was surprised that this was her first foray into this sub-genre of romance. I never would have guessed from this book.

The characters were done very well and the attention to details was exceptionally well thought out. My only complaint with the event that happened to Alessia. It seemed so much worse than it was but was then glossed over as not being that bad. I expected things to come out of that. The ending also bothered me a little bit too. Not because it was a HFN but there is still a loose end out there and I am left wondering how that will affect the next story. Will it continue from Luca and Lessia or will it be a different family of the Five Families that will still have that unfinished business carry over.

First time reading this author but she had me with the blurb. I am very pleased to discover a new author to add to my watch list.
