This is a dark retelling of Snow White from the evil stepmother's perspective. It includes graphic violence and a lot of sex and nudity. The graphic novel is relatively short, but the story is gripping from the first page to the last. It has a very grim athmosphere and no "happy ending". I loved especially the beautiful illustrations that fit the story really well and convey a cruel fairy tale. ( )

I read this for the "A Book With Illustrations" part of my 2020 reading challenge. This was beautifully done, both the story and the artwork. It was a much darker take on the classic/Disney Snow White tale and I loved it. Not for kids. ( )
