Sleepers, Wake is about a boy named Dody and how his family was the first ever to travel to a planet other than earth that has life on it. Dody and his family were in sleeping capsules that make don't make you age, but since Dody woke up 50 years early, he has aged. So during the journey, Dody and his sister, Elaine find these things that look like human but really aren't. They were call Eratz. Eratz were copies of the children of the people who first came to Erat. One of the Eratz were named Jonathan, and Jonathan was a nice guy. He was so nice that he turned on his own people to help Elaine and Dody. Dody's brother, Bobby, wandered off and Elaine, Jonathan and Dody go on a adventure to find him but not get caught by the Erat, because if they are, they will be copied. And all that would be left of them would be their teeth.

For my opinion on this book, I think this book was really confusing and weird. The Eratz are aliens that are invisible but in the end, they start to 'spore' so I started to think of mushrooms.

This book is about a boy named Dody who woke up early on a journey to a new world. Dody's family and the rest of the crew on the WANDERER are all sleeping but Dody is not. Because of this, Dody is ageing rapidly. But then, after 50 year, his parents and brother and sister wake up. They look just as they did when they left Earth. When Dody his brother Bobby, and his sister Elane, cirously search the wanderer they get in a lander they are set out onto the new world. That is were they meet Jonathan one of the eratz and Hoffman a scientist that was in the ship that set off before the WANDERER. In the end of the book the new world is destroyed, they head back to Earth, and Jonathan dies.
My opinion about this book is that it is sad. But it is also realistic. Just like in real-life at sometime you will lose the ones dear to you.
