Very enthusiastic reader for this. The only real problem I experienced was that the New Testament is recorded at a much lower volume than the Old Testament, which made it challenging to listen to. I did find it startling to hear dates in modern terms (sometimes exact dates). Overall a good experience. ( )

how can you not rate the bible a 5? God would strike me down. This was a great exercise and although I didn't finish till 1/12016 I'm counting it in 2015. ( )

Interesting, but gets a bit dry (I know, sacrilege!). Sorry, wasn't raised religious or given a religious education growing up.

This book is perfect for my purpose. I give the book 5 stars.

I love the “New Living Translation second edition” for reading the scripture.

I love the “One Year” format to help me keep on track and maybe even succeed in completing the bible in a year.

I love the "New Believer's" commentary. It has brief, but to the point, comments for each days reading.

I love the hard cover; it allows me to read it in bed without the cover flopping around. The font is large and clear so I am able to read without strain. The overall quality of the book and paper appears to be good. ( )
