Paige Hollander's twin sister Lily has been dealing with pressure to sell her home in Sinful, Montana to a ski lodge developer. Since Paige is on the mend from a recent gunshot wound she suffered trying to save her partner in a police action shooting, she decides to switch places with Lily and take the heat for awhile. But when Paige arrives in Sinful, she is immediately hit with issues involving the care of Lily's animals and the running of her lingerie shop. It doesn't help that she is attracted to the tough as nails author who offers to help with the animals and her security, as the threats become more serious.

Guilty as Sin is a very well written, well paced romantic suspense novel with likable characters and two intriguing mysteries. The romance between the two protagonists develops in a way that is satisfying and enjoyable as the mysteries continue to unfold throughout the book. While more clues would have made the plot more entertaining, the supporting characters add a layer of fun to the narrative. The conclusion of the novel slows a bit as the resolution to the mysteries are revealed, but overall, Guilty as Sin is a delightful romantic suspense story that is well worth the read. ( )
