First published in 1986, revised and expanded in 1995, this book has been called "the definitive history" of the Titanic.

This is a wonderful, very VERY informative book about the Titanic. It gives historical background information about the Titanic, but it also talks a lot about the rediscovery of the ship, when it's remains were located. There are wonderful pictures of the ship's wreckage, some that are truly haunting and very unnerving to look at, almost like you are looking at a moment frozen in time on that fateful night. ( )
