I 💕💕💕 this book so much.
Theo and Dahlia.
I have marked it as insta but that's not quite accurate, they only have eyes for each other but the relationship is not rushed. She's it for him but Dahlia has issues that mean it takes her a bit longer to trust in them being together.
This book is so well written. It is really funny in parts, laugh out loud moments but also has a serious side.
Dahlia's life has not been easy, I don't want to reveal too much, there are no triggers there but my heart went out to her. It's also a realistic view of a child in the foster care system.
Theo is amazing. He is protective, loyal and obsessed but not so OTT that it becomes ridiculous.

I liked that as a reader you get dual POV, but it is mostly Dahlia. The book is in 2 parts and the second part changes pace and we get a lot more of Theo. Things are explained from his perspective and some darker things are dealt with.

There is no ex drama, cheating or o/w scenes. There are no details about his past other than he hasn't had a girlfriend in years, this was refreshing.

There are some excellent secondary characters, esp Luc. His family is also really funny, lots of potential for extra books.
There is a HEA and a future epilogue. Not everything is explained so I am hoping the details of some things will be dealt with in ether next book. ( )

I love a good Cinderella story and Theo is absolutely delicious. Looking forward to more of Luc and Rosa. ( )
