Even when Trina was abused and considered herself weak, she was strong enough to remove herself from the scene. Declan was strong enough to withhold himself until she admitted she needed him & not take over. The plot was realistic and with twists & turns to keep you interested. I loved this book and will be watching for more from Stacey. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion. I loved His to Love the first book in the series and I like the fact that the characters carry over into the books i8t makes this so much more enjoyable for the reader. I also love the fact that the book was again written with dual perspective because you get the emotions of both the hero and heroine.
These two start a friendship/ roommate relationship that blossoms into a loving relationship that they both needed. While Trina was hurt physically Declan was hurt emotionally but these two definitely heal each other. This story proofs that with any good relationship that you accept your partner’s flaws and make them beautiful! The entire story unfolds while Trina’s ex is looking for her and the experience brings them closer. I love this series and this author all and all this was a 5 STAR read for ME! Thank you to Netgalley the author and publisher for this awesome book.
