In an incidental development to threats of revenge, litigation, franchise moving and clubhouse brawls, preparations continued for the World Series game planned for 5:30 P.M. at the Coliseum. For those who can't recall, the World Series is a best-of-seven event that serves as an annual backdrop to what the A's do off the field prior to blaming the press for blowing everything out of proportion.
