This was an easy read with humor, smut and everything someone could want in a escapist book. (  ) Stacie-C | May 8, 2021 | The main characters aren't just the only thing that made this book a great read. The supporting characters helped make the story light, fun and enjoyable. I read it in one sitting. I definitely didn't want to put it down. This was the first book of Bethany's that I have read. It definitely won't be the last. I've got great friends who have my back, and a sexy, mysterious motorcycle man who keeps showing up when I need him. Maybe things are starting to look up, and one thing's for sure... Perhaps it is May's cupcakes, or Bea's tough lady cop attitude, but these strong professional women bring a snapshot of the whacky, and often exciting life of Delilah trying to make ends meet as a novice P.I.and how it offers a unique but balanced life-work chemistry. There is some hot sex and violence, but, the threat of the infamous swear-jar keeps the language GP. I cannot wait to read #2. Thank you. (
