Adopted and Adored is the eighth book in the Duck Ponder Series and was written to instill respect and kindness toward the families formed by adoption as well as cultivate appropriate adoptive conversation. God has told us through His inspired word that we are all adopted through Jesus to be His own children. Therefore, God's family is a very diverse group of children whom are loved by their Heavenly Father equally and unconditionally. Throughout scripture we are reminded that some of the key players in carrying out God's plans for His people were adopted. Moses was adopted by Pharaoh's daughter in order to spare his life. His adoption by an Egyptian princess gave him the skills he needed to free the Israelites from slavery. Hadassah was adopted by her cousin, Mordecai, after the death of her parents. God directed her path to become Queen Esther. Because of her relationship to the king, she and Mordecai were responsible for saving her Jewish heritage from total destruction. Other stories in the scriptures continue to impress upon readers the importance of trusting God whatever your circumstance. Always give thanks and know that God has a plan for each of us for such a time as this.… (altro)
