Originally published in German as Pippa & Pelle im Schnee, this little board book pairs a simple seasonal tale with Daniela Drescher's lovely artwork. Although not the book I had intended to read - I requested the first title in this series through my library, but somehow this one showed up instead - Pippa and Pelle in the Winter Snow is charming enough that I would seek out other titles featuring these characters. Recommended primarily to fans of Drescher's artwork, but also to those seeking fairy and/or winter-themed picture-books. ( )
