I think this book is a good way to teach children not to underestimate others. Something I didn’t really like about the book was that both the Hare and the Turtle were using sneaky ways to win. I think that this gives kids the wrong idea about winning and playing fair. This is a spin off of the well known story of the tortoise and the hare. When tortoise and hare decide to have a race, all of tortoises friends offer advice on how he can win. I like this book because it shows children how when something is difficult the best thing to do is just keep working through the situation. Along with that it shows them that cheating is never a good idea. I believe this book is appropriate for children of any age. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
A greedy hare insists on eating more than his share of the cabbages and proposes a race to decide who should have them all, while Muggs the turtle only wants what is fair. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
