Good engagement of modern day theology. I don't really buy into covenant theology, so I am a bit biased against the book. He trusts Meredith Kline too much. Sometimes he speaks of what seems a generic "covenant". I think he is referring to a covenant of creation. Since I'm not convinced that there is such a beast, I don't agree 100% with what he says. I think there is a way of saying all that he says without Covenant theology. But then Horton's book would be just another Evangelical theology. I need to read the first book so I can have a fuller understanding.
Other than the covenant theology, I dig Horton's emphasis on eschatology. ( )
