No se si porque ya estaba a full en la historia pero este me ha gustado bastante más que el primero. Aún con su previsibilidad, y ver por donde van los tiros, tiene un ritmo bastante endiablado que lo convierte en todo un disfrute.

Quizá los momentos de infodumping me sobran un poco, pero se nota que la autora le esta cogiendo el ritmo y que poco a poco la historia va creciendo cada vez más.

Con ganas del tercero. (

Loved the pacing of this book. Absolutely action-packed and full of little world-building nuggets. There are definitely times I wish I had seen a little more depth of character... but still enjoyed all the nuances between characters I have come to love and hate.

Definitely worth the read! (

This one dragged a little at times. By the end though I was fully captured and couldn't put it down for the last 200 pages. (

This series continues to amaze me. Although this book took me longer to read, it was not because of the book itself. The plot was a lot slower in this book, but it is to be expected since this is meant to be book 2 of a rather long series. The characters were just as good as ever. I love Paige and Warden, and I loved the loyalty of Nick, Eliza and Danica in regards to Paige. As per usual, Samantha Shannon does not fail with making me hate Jaxon, but that’s a good thing because he’s awful. I’m excited to continue the series. (

Slightly better follow up to The Bone Season than I expected. For some reason I felt the writing quality had improved and gone up a notch compared to the first book. Development of additional characters sets the stage for the next (few) books. (
