This book is very different from other children's books I have read before because this book lacks words. In this book, the reader is basically in charge of narrating the story. The children will really get engaged and involved in this book because of the lack of words and that can be really important and special to young children. The reader will have many opportunities to ask questions. Daisy gets lost would be a good book for children to read themselves because they can predict what will happen. I first want to say how I love this book started off with Daisy's blue ball. In the last book, "A ball for Daisy", Daisy loses her red ball and gets a blue one. At the beginning of the story, Raschka brings the blue ball into the story. The illustrations of the dog's expressions really signify the confusion and worry he is experiencing. Once Daisy howls, the owner finally finds her. This can bring comfort to young children that if they ever get lost, they should call for help. This book about a dog named Daisy that gets lost in the forest. This book doesn't have very many words in it as it is mostly being told through the illustrations, but it can be depicted that a little girl is looking for Daisy for a long period of time. The story ends with Daisy being found because the little girl here's the dog's howling. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
