This had really pretty pages and an interesting story line, but it could have been a little better. ( )

This was a great, easy, and innovative read. It was told using text messages, photographs of postcards, newspaper clippings, CD liner notes and pictures. Francisco is an Argentinian immigrant who falls I. Love with his next door neighbor, piano prodigy Gloria. Their young love is put to the test when Gloria goes on tour over seas and slowly slips into madness. Except for the hardcore Sci/fantasy fans, I can't imagine a teen who couldn't be book talked into reading Chopsticks. ( )

I liked the concept of the book, but there were a few incongruities in the pictures I caught that were perhaps innocuous, but I felt should have been attended to a little more closely since this is specifically a graphic novel. ( )

This is a beautifully photographed book, but I just feel like I scrolled through twenty pages of Tumblr. ( )
