Everything about this volume was either fluffy and adorable or dramatic and emotionally stirring - or both at the same time. And there was a lot of Iku/Dojo moments, which also makes me happy, along with some sweet moments between Shibazaki and Hikaru. I'm glad this volume expanded on Shibazaki's character; she really has become a fascinating person to read about, especially with Iku as her unlikely best friend. The extra manga at the onsen was totally cute and a much-needed lighthearted piece after all the serious business going on in the library. I see many troubles on the horizon for poor Dojo, judging by the last proper chapter's ending. ( )

I have been waiting for this volume for forever! I liked the backstory, but I really wish that the main love story (that ALL of us faithful readers have been waiting for!) would start already. I don't want to spoil it for people reading this who are not yet reading the series. ( )

I love this series. It's so funny and sweet, it makes me happy to read it. In this volume, more hijinks with Kasahara and Dojo, backstory about Shibazaki, and we meet Hikaru's brother. Also, the Library Defense Force has to protect a banned magazine, but is divided about whether to make it available to the public. ( )
