The main character is a criminal psychologist who is disturbed by one of the accused people she is asked to examine to determine if they could stand trial. After the case, and her journey of discovery renews her contact with an atheist mentor who gives her a lecture on faith which prepares her for her final conflict.

This is Christian fiction and centers around the ideas of fighting evil and what it means to 'have faith.' Simple, interestingly written. Still has the Christian fiction problem of too much tell not enough show. Still an interesting read, and worth every penny :) ( )

I really wanted to like this novella, but it just felt derivative. Maybe if it were longer, and the characters were more developed, I would have liked it better. ( )

This was an exciting short. The action begins straight out the gate when Abby evaluates Cheryl. The prison guard had the best idea when she said we don't let them talk. I also liked that the author shared chapters from his other works. One I liked in particular was Beyond Justice and I shall begin reading it shortly. But the Accidental Exorcist is a good scare. ( )

This book was a quick read. I really enjoyed it though and look forward to more Joshua Graham books. This particular one was a bit strange but very intrigueing. ( )
